I took a size 10 but wish I had bought a size 8 since the dress has a stretch to it (for ref: bust 88cm and hips 97cm).
It is a little bit loose but luckily it doesn't really show.
Other than that it's more of an eggplant kinda purple but it's stunning once worn.
